9/25 – 10/1

Based on my observations of Glossier’s Instagram this week, it seems as if they are only responding to positive comments about their products. As I mentioned in my first Blog Proj post, Glossier is doing a “You Look Good Tour” around parts of Texas at the moment, and it seems that customers are very disappointed with how the event turned out. Many customers took to the comment section of Glossier’s most recent post about the tour to comment on their disappointment with the event. Glossier has yet to respond to any of these comments, or put out any sort of statement regarding the event. There has been more backlash than praise, but their social media team has chosen to ignore the comments of their customers. The team gladly responded to positive comments and questions on a post they made about one of their bar soap products, but when it comes to real customer concerns, there has been no communication.
